Age 3 - 6 years
Rudolf Steiner called the first
years of a Childs life the "Years of Imitation."
At this stage, everything the
children experience affects them deeply. The rhythm of the day, the
behaviour of adults and their environment all have important
influences on their life.
It is therefore essential that
the children's surroundings are beautiful and natural.
Their day in
the Kindergarten has a strong rhythmical pattern, and includes many
artistic activities: Painting, modelling, drawing, singing, eurythmy,
songs & games, handwork & baking.
Inside and outside the
Kindergarten is designed so as to encourage and enrich children's
imaginative play.
The time spent in the
Kindergarten provides the firm and healthy basis for all subsequent
learning throughout the school. |
