In House Teacher Training 2009 -
2011
This year sees the inauguration
of a Steiner Waldorf teacher training programme suitable for those
wishing to enter Steiner / Waldorf teaching and for mainstream
teachers seeking to deepen and enliven their existing practice.
The course structure allows
substantial flexibility for those with current commitments and an
opportunity to achieve an understanding and practice of the Steiner
Waldorf pedagogical philosophy and methodology.
Over the two years, participants
will be introduced to the philosophical background of Steiner
Education in relation to the human being and its purpose in viewing
the teacher and the education as artist and art.
The in-house aspect of the course
will allow a greater flexibility for participants to develop their
studies. The course will be supported by a wide range of tutors
including visiting lecturers.
